MXsense Solutions Launches Beta Release of Email Archiving Solution

Hosted Solution Provides Centralized Platform to Securely Archive, Manage and Optimize Corporate Email Communications

Marlboro, NJ (June 5, 2007) – MXsense Solutions, Inc. today announced the beta launch of its namesake email archiving solution designed for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook environments.  Delivered as a hosted, software as a service (SaaS) solution, MXsense provides comprehensive archiving and mailbox extension features to manage the ever-growing volumes of data stored in email communications and attachments.

MXsense delivers a non-intrusive and completely transparent platform to optimize existing email servers and infrastructure, ensure business continuity and disaster recovery, and provide powerful search tools for surveillance, e-discovery and compliance initiatives.

According to The Radicati Group, an industry research firm, the need for email archiving is rapidly becoming a "must-have" for most organizations.  Citing the firm’s latest study, "E-Mail Archiving Market, 2007-2011," the e-mail archiving market is expected to reach almost $1.3 billion in 2007, and grow to over $6 billion by 2011.

“Email is the most pervasive form of business communication, accounting for approximately two-thirds of all correspondence,” explained Paul Banco, Chief Executive Officer at MXsense Solutions.  “The pervasiveness of email, combined with the convergence of voicemail and fax communications, has made the inbox a powerful and bloated repository for business-critical information and data.  This poses new challenges for both IT managers and users alike.”

From an IT perspective, MXsense provides a seamless platform to optimize performance of existing email server infrastructure, and off-load older email based on policy-driven thresholds.  This allows organizations to define their electronic records management policies and retain records for regulatory and compliance purposes.  The system indexes all inbound and outbound email as well as attachments, providing powerful key word search capabilities for users, compliance managers and authorized groups, such as HR and accounting.

Serving as an archived extension of existing email server infrastructure, MXsense enables users to leverage archived data as if it was never moved out of their inbox.

“As organizations further integrate email into their day-to-day operations, it is imperative to have the capability to safeguard this business-critical data,” added Banco.  “Having a centralized archiving system not only offers a powerful safety net for business continuity, but also provides the capability to leverage the volumes of data for surveillance, compliance and knowledge management initiatives.”

Through the MXsense beta launch, a limited number of organizations can sign-up and begin archiving their existing Microsoft Exchange and Outlook email environments through July 31, 2007.  MXsense also offers tools import, index and archive existing email volumes.  For more information, contact MXsense at archiveme@MXsense.com .
